A C (After†Christ) aka Alfred C Ivery: Gospel Recording Artist, singer, songwriter, musician, Producer and Founder and Pastor of the Christ Centered Ministries International.  Also, Radio Host/ Pastor of The Finding My Way with Kayla Padgett Radio Show Channel.  A†C began singing at the age of seven. He would stand in the mirror shaking his legs with a pretend microphone in his hands mimicking Elvis Presley. He found his voice at the age of twelve when he was asked to lead his first choir song at the Pentecostal Evangelist Church on North Hollywood Street in Memphis Tn. The name of the song was ‘That’s What Jesus Said’.  It was then that God placed a yearning in his heart to sing the gospel and to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through song to the world.

Alfred found and fell deeply in love with his beautiful wife Gwenita and her beautiful five daughters. On May 24th 1996 Alfred and Gwenita were married and soon after they had a beautiful baby boy, Alfred Ivery II.  It was doing this time that God began to gift A†C the ability to write songs on a level that would inspire lives in every area of the human condition. Drawing from his own experiences of love, hope, disappointments and hurt A†C writes songs that reflect his experiences (good or bad) as he commits to living a life pleasing to God.  Alfred trusts that his true to life lyrics will reach the heart of the listener. Soon God began to give him songs in dreams. So he would keep a recording device at his bedside for the many times that he would be awaken with a new song ringing his heart.  Soon after the birth of his son, God opened the door for A†C to meet the legendary R&B singer Ann Peebles and was given the opportunity to go into Ann’s studio and record his first five song EP. The EP featured the track ‘Quiet Storm’ which featured the first and only recorded gospel collaboration with Ann Peebles before she was recently struck with a sickness that left her unable to continue her career in music.  In April 2017, A†C came out of the world famous Ardent Studio with his next six track EP featuring Grammy winning producer Boo Mitchell and Grammy winner Kirk Whalum. The EP features his inspirational single and music video, ‘You Saved Me’ and the re-mastered song ‘Quiet Storm’ featuring Ann Peebles.
